  • Matthew Powell helped my change my mind, body and soul…… he worked with me to see that the choices I make in food, exercise and time all have an impact. I didn’t have to diet to become a healthier size and shape, just understand how and what to eat and what my body needed. I didn’t have to go to the dreaded gym to exercise , simply connect back to the sports and exercise that I love (tennis, yoga and walking) as well as give me great stretches I can do at home. In being happier in my body and mind he helped me address my soul and find those happy places again. Although I initially worked with Matthew (twice) in 2009 , he stays with me – on my shoulder – and when I am about to make a ‘bad choice’ I can hear his voice.   • Following recommendations I started training with Matthew. My wish was to get fitter and toned, I had let the accumulated post baby pounds, some injuries and my gym phobic self be the excuses. He listened to my concerns and devised a well balanced programme that was achievable, tough but fun. I trained with Matthew twice a week and followed his ‘at home’ programme. He has an immense depth of knowledge and energy which he always brought to our training sessions. I steadily increased my fitness levels and dropped a number of dress sizes which I still maintain three years later. Matthew is an absolute pleasure to work with, and I would strongly recommend him to anyone.

  • Matt is an amazing trainer, always on hand to give out encouragement and support at all times. His classes are always fun and varied. This is great as you never know what to expect and so get pushed out of your comfort zone physically. His spin classes are not to be missed!
